Our vision is that Kent and Medway will be a place where disabled artists and disability arts organisations have powerful connections, influence best practise and evolve the wider arts sector.

Our mission is to support, galvanise and collaborate with disabled artists and disability arts organisations to deliver extraordinary work. We will promote inclusive and accessible practise and advocate for equity in the arts and beyond.

We subscribe to the social model of disability which recognises that people are disabled by barriers in society not by their impairment or difference. Our banner of disability arts includes neurodiversity and autism, d/Deaf, people with learning disabilities, chronic health conditions and physical impairments. This is not an exhaustive list and we recognise that the language that people choose to identify with is evolving and personal.
