Celebrating 20 Years

Twenty years ago, in 2005, Square Pegs began with a simple request from Jack and his mum, Nicky, for a drama group where everyone could belong, be themselves, and be creative. From those first sessions in a school hall to the thriving organisation we are today, our values of inclusion, kindness, and community have remained at the heart of everything we do. We’ve grown a brilliant team of professionals, artists, and volunteers, yet that family feel, the one that makes Square Pegs so special, has never changed.

Over two decades, we’ve witnessed extraordinary creativity, courage, and connection: people discovering confidence, forming lasting friendships, and having a lot of fun along the way. As we celebrate this milestone, we want to say a huge thank you to every member, family, staff member, volunteer, partner, and supporter who has shaped our journey. Here’s to the next twenty years of creativity, collaboration, and community, and to continuing to make accessible arts opportunities for everyone.
